Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup butterscotch topping (for ice cream)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 liters A&W Cream Soda, chilled
- ¼ tsp caramel extract
- ¼ tsp butter extract
- ¼ cup butterscotch topping (for ice cream)
- Optional: rum
Directions
- In a large bowl, whip heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Stir in butterscotch topping and powdered sugar. Set aside.
- Mix the caramel and butter extracts with the cream soda, and then pour into mugs.
- Top with generous dollop of the butterscotch cream topping, and drizzle with leftover butterscotch topping.
- Optional: For adults, add up to 1 oz. rum to mug before adding cream soda mixture.
